Special Overseas Members

Special Overseas Members could be active falconers that reside abroad, but spend time in the Western Cape, and own property in the Western Cape. Falconry experience and level of participation will be taken into account when evaluating membership. These members have no voting rights and are bound by the Special Overseas Membership Agreement with a special Letter of Undertaking. When he/she is on a visit to this country, their status shall be that of a Special Associate Member, but are not allowed to individually fly and hunt with raptors. Individually these members they may not own, keep, house any raptors for falconry purposes and/or individually participate in any active falconry activities without being escorted by a full member of the club,  being a A-Grade member, designated to this member.

On receipt of such a membership application, qualified members within the club will be approached to review such application. Due to time and financial implications of such membership  this membership is dependant on the availability of qualified members.
