Basic Requirements
In South Africa falconry is structured within SAFA. Every club in every province have basic requirements for membership and grading.
In an effort to ensure a high standard of falconry the BFC has developed a standardized training curriculum that covers all aspects of falconry that needs to be completed. The curriculum covers the falconers progress from Novice to A Grade Falconer
Our curriculum is divided in five levels of which each level is divided into several modules. Each level has learner outcomes and included is assignments and written exams at the end of each level. On completion the theory needs to be practical utilized to progress to the next level.
